About Us
Founded in 2018 by landscape contractor and designer Albert Stephens, Step Stone Landscapes was born out of a passion for transforming outdoor spaces into peaceful, purposeful sanctuaries. Over the past seven years, Albert has dedicated himself wholeheartedly to his craft — combining creativity, precision, and a deep respect for nature in every project. In January 2025, Albert faced unimaginable loss when the Eaton Wildfires devastated his Altadena home and business, reducing years of hard work to ashes. But through tragedy, he found new purpose. Rebuilding from the ground up, Albert poured his heart back into Step Stone Landscapes, emerging with a stronger mission: to create landscapes that symbolize resilience, renewal, and beauty — one thoughtful step at a time.
